PepperBall® Projectiles are frangible spheres that are designed to fracture into multiple pieces upon impact with a suspect or other surface.
Marking rounds allow officers to mark suspects in crowds at greater distances
Arrest teams on the perimeter of large crowds can then pick out marked troublemakers
PepperBall® Launchers fire projectiles at a muzzle velocity of 350 to 380 fps
Fired projectiles are accurate on targets at distances of 60'
Can be used for area saturation at distances of 150'
PepperBall® projectiles have an operating temperature range from -30 to 150 degrees F
Also used for pain compliance where live/red application is not appropriate
PepperBall® projectiles should never be targeted at a person's face, eyes, throat or spine
PepperBall Projectiles are not warranted for use with other manufacturer's launchers. Use of PepperBall Projectiles in other launch platforms voids all manufacturer's warranties and liabilities.
